Falkenstein Val Venosta Riesling 2014
The Riesling is distinguished by fine yellow fruit aromas (peach, apricot and citrus), a well-structured acidity and mineral notes.
This Riesling is a late-maturing variety. The grapes are hand picked from the beginning to the middle of October and then carefully processed. The fermentation in large acacia wooden barrels, followed by a further 10 months on the wild yeasts. After bottling, the Riesling is further stored in the company's cellars for 6 months.
