Salcheto Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2010
2010 gave an incredible harvest. After a long and difficult winter, and a spring that was plagued by the threat of disease on the vines, the year evolved positively with an oversized blossoms. Initially, there was concern that a fresh and cloudy month of September was negatively affect concentration but with an abundance of sunshine at the end of the month was the problem of the job; the result is a Nobile that exudes power and elegance.
This magnificent result, has achieved international recognition.
Gambero Rosso: 3 red glasses
The Wine Advocate: 93+ points
"A three glasses of conquest by the Salcheto Nobile 2010, thanks to a bouquet full of life, penetrating, with fresh herbs such as thyme. Red fruits, a solid body. Juicy, with a pleasant and long finish."
Own notes DFW: This Nobile is truly a breakthrough for Salcheto for me. It is a round, full wine full flavor of red fruit and soft tannins sides. Fortunately, we can obtain here an allocation in all volumes. But the 2011 is of the same caliber and already available.
